Dr Marinos Tountas is a Postdoctoral researcher in the Nanomaterials for Printed Electronics & Energy Devices Group at the Hellenic Mediterranean University. He is focusing his research efforts on the interfacial engineering of Perovskite and Organic Solar Cells, aiming at achieving improved efficiency and device stability. He received his B.Sc. in Material Science from the University of Patras, Greece and then moved to National Technical University of Athens where he was awarded his M.Sc. in the field of Microsystems and Nanodevices. He then started his PhD at the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos” where his work was focused on the design, fabrication and characterization of Organic Solar Cells and Organic Light Emitting Diodes and the study and implementation of molecular materials as device interlayers.
